We have organized the project to minimize the cost of production and thus increase our capabilities with a tight budget. First, a collection of independent artists are contributing their time and talent for little or no money. Their primary compensation is a major stake in the film's profits (a full 80% of net profits will be shared by the contributing artists). A secondary benefit of using independent artists is that they already own the tools they need to contribute, like computers and software licenses.

One of our largest individual costs is a motion capture system - which was included in the budget to greatly reduce the amount of 3D animation required for the project. This will eliminate the need for a whole team of talented animators, which would be impossible to acquire here in Indiana. Lastly, the motion capture system - as well as purchasing some stock 3D models - will greatly increase the speed of the production. Any additional funds raised beyond our projected budget will be used to further shorten the production timetable.

In January or February, we will be launching a fundraising campaign on KickStarter.com. During the 30-day campaign you can pledge your support and receive one of the perks listed below. If we reach our goal by the end of the campaign, the pledged funds will be transferred to our accounts. After the campaign, we will continue to offer the same perks on this website, but since KickStarter is all-or-nothing, we ask that you contribute during the 30-day campaign so that we can reach our goals and receive the funds needed to make the project.

Receive the above, plus a hand-bound "Production Book," which will include the final script, one scene of storyboards, and character bios (complete with original, drawn designs, final 3D model, and the voice actor's headshot and bio). [Please add $10 for international addresses.]

Receive all the above, plus help shape the film as a focus group member! You wil be sent a DVD or given a digital download of the animatic (moving storyboard with dialog, sound FX and rough music) to be screened with your family and close friends. Up to 12 people can submit the focus-group survey, which will help shape the story through the production process.
