Thomas DeCarlo
Writer/Director, Producer and 3D Generalist
Thomas began making films in high school, drawing together years of experience in theater, music, and photography.
He formally studied filmmaking at Denison University, during which time he wrote and produced two longer pieces on video:
The Perfect Circle (2002 - 35 min) and Exit 41 (2003 - 90 min), as well as Tracks (2004 - 7 min),
a 1920s-style silent comedy on 16mm film. After college, Thomas began writing the
story that would become The Ilithyia while learning the basics of web design, 2D & 3D animation. He also returned to his musical
roots at this time, releasing two piano CDs - including an album of original piano music, Songs of Solitude.
